CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-( )-May 6, 2003-Mathsoft Engineering & Education, Inc. And the Process, Power & Offshore division of Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ: INGR) today jointly announced they have renewed and expanded a licensing and distribution agreement for Intergraph SmartSketch(R), the parametric 2D precision design, production drafting and diagramming software. Under terms of the new, three-year agreement, Mathsoft will continue to include SmartSketch 4.0 with its Mathcad(R) 11 engineering calculation software line. Additionally, the agreement allows Mathsoft to license and sell standalone SmartSketch in non-competing markets through its direct sales force, network of global distributors, and to educational institutions under special license. The new agreement also provides for Mathsoft to promote the SmartSketch brand through various marketing programs.Mathcad and SmartSketch are fully and bi-directionally integrated, enabling users to perform calculations and parametric design processes in a single, specification-driven environment.
